Ghosts

The lost deal service

One link, in the last email you send.

Thanks for your time, Jason

Hi Jason,

I gather you've gone with another agent, and I wanted to say thanks for taking the time to meet with me.

We use Ghosts to understand why people decide not to go with us. It's anonymous, and it helps us look after our clients better.

If you can spare a couple of minutes, there's a voucher at the end as a thank-you, whatever you have to share.

Tell Ghosts what happened

All the best finding your new home,
Lisa

How it works

  1. 1.Request your link

Enter your work email. We send you a link that's unique to your business.

  2. 2.Add it to your last email

Thank them for their time and invite them to tell Ghosts what happened. Use our wording or your own.

  3. 3.They tell Ghosts

One question at a time, about five minutes. They're free to say no, and nobody chases them.

  4. 4.They check it

The buyer reads what we heard and corrects it before anything is shared.

  5. 5.You see what happened

Once at least 3 people have answered through your link, you get their accounts together: what happened, who else was in the running, and the moment it turned.

How the buyer is protected

  • Your link names your business. It never names the buyer.
  • No tracking. We don't record who opens your email or clicks the link.
  • Anonymous. You see what was said, never who said it.
  • Shared in groups. Nothing reaches you until at least 3 people have answered, so no answer leads back to one person.

What we won't do

  • Give you their name or email address.
  • Chase them, or sell them anything.
  • Pass judgement. We report what they said, never a verdict on your business.

Who it's for

Businesses where one lost job is worth understanding: trades and home services, real estate, professional services, dealerships, local B2B. If a quote takes real work to put together, a lost one is worth a few minutes of the buyer's time.
